Livin' On Kin 2006 - Official Contest Rules

  1. Members of the Kinsmen Club of Red Deer and their immediate family are not eligible to purchase tickets.
  2. All raffle winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If at that time the prize has still not been claimed, the prize shall be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by the Commission. Alternatively with Commission approval, unclaimed prizes or monies equivalent in value may be donated to the licensees own approved use of profits.
  3. Prizes must be accepted as drawn. Cash equivalencies will not be allowed, unless stated on the ticket. Prizes are not transferable unless otherwise indicated.
  4. Ticket sales are intended for residents of the province of Alberta, and the Kinsmen Club will not actively promote the sales of tickets outside the province of Alberta.
  5. Prizes won by deceased persons will be awarded to their estates.
  6. Tickets cannot be purchased by anyone under 18 years of age. Sellers must advise purchasers not to enter the name(s) of persons under 18 years of age on the tickets.
  7. Prizes won by minors will be placed in trust with the Public Guardian of Alberta.
  8. Final draw procedure will be based on a media draw at the Livin on Kin at 4847A-19 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on July 23rd, 2006. The winning tickets will be pulled from a draw barrel as per AGLC regulations.
  9. The KINSMEN CLUB OF RED DEER reserves the right to request a draw date extension in the event that a minimum of $35,000 Ticket Value sales is not achieved by the final draw date, July 23rd, 2006.
  10. Tickets have no cash value and refunds are not available.
  11. Prizes will be drawn in order of ascending value with the final ticket drawn for the Livin on Kin, grand prize package. Each ticket drawn will be placed back in the draw barrel to be eligible for the grand prize.
  12. Tickets may be purchased by more than one person, however if a ticket stub with more than one name on it is drawn, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the stub. The licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between different persons purchasing one ticket.
  13. Gift certificates awarded to winners may have restrictions on location of use, and items available for purchase. Any disagreements regarding the awarded prizes shall be settled by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, whose decision is final.
  14. Gift certificates awarded to winners have no cash value and are valid for 1 year from the draw date. Any disagreements regarding the awarded prizes shall be settled by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, whose decision is final.
  15. Prizes will be paid for from the Clubs general account to be reimbursed by proceeds from the lottery.
  16. All winners are required to produce identification and sign an acceptance form before taking a prize into their possession.
  17. After a winner has accepted a prize the Kinsmen Club of Red Deer nor any supplier of a prize is responsible for any fees, maintenance costs, taxes, or insurance related to the use of that prize.
  18. Prize winners will be contacted by telephone and/or registered mail.
  19. Winner’s names will be posted on www.reddeerkinsmen.com and will appear in the Red Deer Advocate. All prize winners agree to have their name and/or photo used in promotional materials including but not limited to print and web media.
  20. The Red Deer Kinsmen has the right to substitute an alternate supplier for a given prize due to availability with out notice.
  21. Grand prize winner to provide copy of Auto Insurance, Phone Bill, Natural Gas, Electrical (power), Property Tax, Cell Phone, House Insurance bills and or current statement with account number and service provider for appropriate credit to be made to account. No cash substitutes will be given.
